The church was born in 1996 and has gone through much upgrading and reformation, which has intensified its focus, identity and understanding of the mission. There has been a price to pay as by any true change, but the effect has been worth all of it.

Free churches have mainly been built on pastoral, doctrinal and evangelistic activity, regulated by various management concepts. That is a very serious misunderstanding leaving the churches anaemic, impotent and victims of cheap and deceitful models, methods and manuals... whereas the solution is a simple, radical return to the wisdom and power of the New Covenant. So "back" to Acts.

The CITY CHURCH has taken a showdown with religious and humanistic Christianity, with Free Church cartel thinking and big brother complexes. We perseveringly work to build a biblical prototype in the middle of accusations about arrogance and elitism.

The CITY CHURCH is determined to raise a whole new generation of believers with a clear Kingdom focus, a sharp reformatory spirit, an unpolluted wisdom and a progressive revelation, in the apostolic fathers' legacy.

The CITY CHURCH looks forward to see churches built in Denmark on prophetic and apostolic foundation and are willingly at disposal.
